How to Connect a Custom Domain?

1. From the Custom domains screen, click the +Connect custom domain button. This opens the Connect custom domain screen.
2. Enter the domain in Domain or subdomain field. Here, you have to add DNS details to your domain. Therefore, make sure that the ANAME and CNAME are pointed correctly towards the assigned IP.
3. Secondly, once you make a DNS update, it has a 72-hour period to propagate through the internet.
4. Enter the URL in the Custom index URL field. This is the URL where users will be redirected to when they land on the index of your domain.
5. Enter the redirection path for 404 error in the Custom 404 not found URL field. This is the URL where the users will be redirected to in case they land on a not found page of your domain.
6. Once all the details are entered, click the +Create button. This adds the custom domain and places it in the Pending status.
7. Once it is approved from the backend by Zapped support, the connected custom domain becomes active.
8. The added custom domain starts appearing in the Custom Domains screen.
9. You can also edit or delete the created custom domain using the three dot icon.
